Description
Concrete contractor Tony Brabo and his crew pose next to a large rock (the soon-to-be Mill Valley City Hall war memorial) on truck bed. Rock is attached to crane hook with chains. One man is in the Air Force, indicated by the stripes on his jacket. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) hired Brabo, a local concrete contractor, to remove the rock after it fell from Wolfback Ridge above Sausalito and blocked part of Highway 101. The CHP also had Hamilton Air Force Base send airmen with a crane to the site.
