Description
Plates in: Album of photographs, pg. 2. Group picture of members of unidentified organization, wearing ribbon badge on left shoulder, posed on steps of public building. Individuals are hand numbered, accompanying page identifies individuals by name. "From J.E. Baldwin 12/'30" - handwritten in lower left corner. 2009-3247. John Baldwin arrived in California by 1874. Was active as a photographer in several cities, including Sacramento. In Sacramento operated out of a gallery on J Street in the 1880's.
