Description
"Peppy was taken to La Puente for special training. I was selected as Best Dressed Boy on this day at the Trancas Arena Horse Show. We were only a few miles away from the arena which was located near (east of) the Trancas Business District. We used to ride over to the Trancas Market, hitch our horses on rail which was provided by the market, and buy soda pop and candy. One day we saw James Arness ('Gunsmoke' actor) in the store."
