Description
Built on the highest platform of the Ālāhana Parivena complex, a monastery associated with a cremation ground. The "sima" are boundary walls. According to The Chronical, the Mahāvamsa, the Pāsāda had 12 storeys and also turrets. It is accessed via two terraces. It has four entrances.
