Photograph caption dated February 22, 1961 reads "Teenager said he was protecting mother." The article partially reads "Burbank Det. Lt. Ernest Vandergrift said Antonio Pastor Jr., 16, was booked on suspicion of assault with intent to commit murder after an investigation into the 6:08 p.m. shooting at the Pastor home, 2122 N. Evergreen St."
