Description
Photograph of an exterior view of Lincoln High School on North Broadway in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, ca.1928. The stately white school consists of three principal buildings -- a 3-story main building at the head of a long flight of steps up a landscaped embankment, another smaller 3-story building to the left, and an auditorium higher up the hill above the main building. Many palm trees grow in a cluster on the grounds as well as in a line along the street below. Mostly bare hills are visible behind. In the foreground are roofs of houses and trees across the street. Utility lines and poles line the street. Legible signs include: "Lincoln High School".
