In 1960, the North Hollywood YMCA became the East Valley YMCA. Photograph caption dated July 14, 1958 reads "Judy Pratt offers ping-pong paddles to Duane Kofoed, right, and Gary Haggart, president of new YWCA-YMCA Coed Club for single persons between 18 and 25 years of age. Group met for first time at YMCA Building, 5142 Tujunga Ave., North Hollywood. Sports, picnics, dances and other group activities are planned. Next meeting will be July 25."
