Description
Annotation translation: "[The caption is corrected into:] School and pupils in Bali."
Annotation: "[Als Korrektur der Legende:] Schule und Schüler in Bali."
Note: Unklar ob Schulklasse oder Militär. - "Zeigt Soldaten in Pickelhaube vor der Missionsstation." (Ch. M. Geary, E-30-0,7 und E-30-0,8).
Note translation: It is not clear whether the image shows a school class or soldiers. - "[this image] shows soldiers in Prussian military helmets in front of the mission station." (C. M. Geary, E-30-0,7 and E-30-0,8). - P. Valentin is of the clear opinion that it is a picture of soldiers, since on the original it is quite clear that all the Africans are wearing Prussian-style military helmets, and the front row are lying in the grass pointing guns at the camera. (02.2002).
