Cobb was a freelance artisan who was employed by the mission to run the workshops and provide training to the local young men. He worked at Chogoria from 1924 to 1928 before leaving to join the Church Mission Society [CMS]. ❧ This image is from the first years of the Chogoria mission in Kenya, which was run by the Rev. Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974), from the collection entitled ‘Chogoria, 1922. The early days.”
