Photograph caption dated January 28, 1965 reads, "'Font de Fleur' will be the theme of the annual fashion show of St. Bernardine of Siena Church, Canoga Park, to be held Feb. 6 at Sportsmen's Lodge, 12833 Ventura Blvd., Studio City. Social hour will be at 11:30 a.m., luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Meeting to discuss plans for the event are, from left, Mmes. Ronald B. Maloney, chairman; Edward Fraker, president of the women's club, and Jack McGovern, co-chairman. Mrs. Emil Vukalcic, past president, will commentate the showing of fashions by Mike Anthony. Proceeds will benefit S. Bernardine's Elementary School, recently opened in the West Valley and conducted by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Committee members and hostesses are Mmes. Al Ferraro, Lewis Bononi, Terrance Buckley, Donald Chandler, H. Paul Rittig, William Walsh, Victor Tostado, Robert Byrne, William Peter Kelly, Robert Bourg, William Rennison, Jack Sullentrop, William D. Taufer, William Boyd, John Austin, James Bohlig, L. E. Harlbut, Harry White and Raymond Orsini. Reservations are being taken by Mrs. Ferraro at 346-6453."
