"Rote (heidnische) Kaffer-Frauen mit Säcken voll Quitten als Arbeitslohn" (''Red [heathen] Kaffir women with bags filled with quinces as wage"). Three women are standing, carrying bags on the top of their heads. They are barefoot, wearing dark skirts, halterneck tops and bangles. On the left, the woman is wearing adornments on her ankles.
