Description
Photograph of a drawing depicting the "Parade of Stars" on Hollywood Boulevard, ca.1935. In the left foreground, a Santa Claus silhouette is pictured, playing a bugle and apparently attached to the wall of the nearby building. Below, a parade is depicted, with majorettes, floats and a band. Two of the majorettes hold a sign that reads "Santa Claus Lane". Spectators and lighted Christmas Trees line the street to either side. At the vanishing point of the road, spotlights cut into the sky. A caption at the upper right reads "Hollywood's World Famous Santa Claus Lane and Parade of Stars".
