Description: "A formal open house is being held today in the new Sunset Funeral Chapel at 525 Fulton Avenue ... The chapel was designed by Leo H. Appel, owner of the new facility and of the original Sunset chapel on the ground of the Sunset Lawn Cemetery. The two chapels will be operated as affiliates, and L. Ray Black will manage the new one. It was built by general contractor Victor Bullard. Appel said it represents an investment of more than $150,000"
