Photograph caption dated June 13, 1955 reads "Switching the tables in a literal fashion at a real Valley-style barbecue, H. E. Schroeder and his wife of 8500 Louise Ave., Northridge, serve a few of some 250 employes (sic) enjoying outdoor party and barbecue at Shroeder (sic) residence. The employes (sic) came from all over the Los Angeles area to attend the affair. They all work for H. E. Schroeder and Co., Contractors, at 8140 Tujunga Ave., Sun Valley. The boss says he hopes to make the affair an annual event. The guests all heartily seconded the motion."
