Photograph caption dated March 13, 1965 reads "Monroe High's Mike McGinty, left, and Joe Lennox come over the last hurdle in 180-yard lows yesterday on even terms, but Lennox put on the sprint and nosed McGinty out at the tape. Monroe easily won the meet, 66-47, over host Grant." Grant High School is in Van Nuys.
