Photograph of a Shigeto Takahashi sitting in a fruit stand operated by his brother, Yoneguma Takahashi. Photo from page 43 of Yoneguma Takahashi photo album (csudh_ytkh_0001). The Yoneguma Takahashi Photo Album contains family portraits, military photographs from Japan, Korea, and China, and photographs of Yoneguma's fruit stand in San Pedro, California. The photo album belonged to Yoneguma's younger brother, Shiego "Johnny" Takahashi, who might have served in the Japanese military. Yoneguma was a Kibei Nisei, a Japanese American born in the United States who moved back to Japan to attend school.
