Description
Note translation: In view of the fact that Striebel phographed Lela in 1908 we might consider that the caption dating of this photograph and E-30.27.013 is mistaken. (PJ 05.2001). - Peter Valentin remarks that Bali had flintlock guns, as we see here, already when the first Europeans reached the Grassfields. NB the elephant tusk behind the white flag (PV 02.2002).
