Photograph of a man caring for an ostrich at the Bentley Ostrich Farm in San Diego, ca.1900. The man with a mustache can be seen at center in a suit, tie and hat with the ostrich just to the left of him. They stand in the corner of an area with tall, wooden fencing and the ostrich wears a lightly-colored slip over the head which hangs over the fence on the left. The man appears to be handling the right wing. Other fenced areas can be seen on either side and in the background.
