"Wife of master Muralist Gleefully Dabbles in Works of Art" (portrait of Frida Kahlo). Oil on masonite, 24" x 19". Frida Kahlo was an artist, a native of Mexico, who lived from 1907 to 1954. She was married to the famous muralist, Diego Rivera and they loved and tormented each other for 25 years. Her paintings are now receiving the acclaim they deserve. This portrait of her was painted by Teresa Ellis, and printed in this form through a grant from the City of Santa Cruz Arts Commission
