Description
Lower section of the 100-inch telescope tube, in transport on Mount Wilson. Several unidentified men are moving telephone wires out of the way. Original photo by W. A. Hughes, 938 Hinton Ave., Los Angeles, California. The tube section is mounted on the back of a truck, which is seen stopped on a Mount Wilson road. The telephone pole is seen in the background, behind the truck. Shrubs and rocks cover the surrounding hillside.
