Description
Photograph of an aerial view of the fire that followed San Francisco's earthquake, April 18, 1906. The smoke from the fire is visible in the distance, behind a row of three tall sky scrapers. The one on the right is still under construction, while the one in the middle is topped by an elaborate dome structure. In the foreground are mostly houses, as yet untouched by the flames that devastated the rest of the city.
