Photograph caption dated January 1, 1954 reads, "Using as its theme, 'The Covered Wagon,' this large float entered by Post's Cereals Division of General Foods, Inc., showed Valleyites Roy Rogers and Dale Evans in the featured roles in an Indian attack on a covered wagon. Rogers rode on the replica of 'Trigger,' while Dale fought off the redskins from the wagon, which had been caught in a rut during the 'attack.'"; See images #00116647 through #00116648 for all photos in this series.
