Description
Photograph of a view from the south of Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa. Four nuns (backs to the camera) are walking along the sidewalk going to mass. The mission is situated on an area elevated from the level of the street and sidewalk in front of it with a stone wall which separates the mission from the street. A wooden bell tower is visible on the roof. An older structure (adobe?) with a tile roof abuts the newer wooden structure. Copyright 1904.
