Description
This 1928 "Northern California Oranges" pamphlet, produced by the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, highlights Sacramento County as a premium location for orange production. In the pamphlet, it is noted that the eastern portion of Sacramento County falls within the "beautiful foothill 'thermal belt'" which includes the districts of Fair Oaks, Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Carmichael, Arcade, and Folsom. Key information included in this pamphlet is the Sacramento County acreage for fruit, nut, and vegetable production in 1928.
