Description
From the collection of Clifton F. Smith. 2012-0287. Interior view of the music room in the Miradero Sanitorium in Santa Barbara. Shows an elevated open room containing a pipe organ with small bay window and window seat adjacent. Fore-room shows Victorian-style chair, settee and table with books on a lace tablecloth; oriental rubs on floor. Text on verso, " Music Room. Pipe organ. Miradero. Once a week Mrs. Barton, organist from a Santa Barbara church, played on the pipe organ and Miss Rich was often one of the guests. After Miss Blake's death Miss Rich lived at Miradero and for the year Mrs. Phillip Ford played the piano once a week-" Clifton Smith imprint on verso. Dennis Kruska;
