A fire fighter battles flames from the second story window of this turn-of-the-century mansion called the "Salt Box." Even with the efforts of the Fire Dept., the dilapidated frame house, rescued earlier this year from Bunker Hill, was wiped out in minutes by the flames. Photograph dated October 9, 1969.
