Used in the Exhibit: Play by Play - A Century of L.A. Sports Photography, 1889-1989 Ann Meyers was the first high-schooler to make the U.S. National team, and became the first woman to earn a full athletic scholarship at UCLA. In her final game, she guided the Bruins to their first-ever national title. She also played on the first U.S. Olympic women's basketball team (1976), and became the first woman to be drafted by an NBA team (the Indiana Pacers). Later, after marrying Dodgers' pitcher Don Drysdale, the two formed the first husband-wife Hall of Fame couple. Photo dated: March 26, 1978.
