Description: Every year on September 9th is Admission Day in California. It symbolizes the day California was admitted into the Union as the 31st state of the United States. On September 9, 1895, the city of Sacramento hosted the California State Fair and the Electric Carnival. This photo captures the John Breuner Furniture Storefront Exhibit in honor of the Electric Carnival.
