Schaffer, center, postmaster, were among fellow employes [sic] who gathered for dinner in observance of retirement of Albert N. 'Bob' Thorson, right, foreman of mails. Thorson had completed over 32 years postal service, latter eight of which were in Encino office. He plans travel, visits for retirement leisure."
