Photograph of a man operating a giant plow in Santa Ana, ca.1930-1934. The plow is at center and is digging a very deep trench in the soil. The man is leaning on a lever that operates the hydraulic device by which the plow is kept in the ground. In the background at left, a Union Oil truck is visible. Photoprint reads: "This plow was used in Santa Ana. Photos made for Ted Stromberger, Union Oil Co., several years ago, Oct. 1938."
