Photograph caption dated October 7, 1958 reads, "Christmas Day, 1900 - George P. Prince, operator of fruit dryer with brother Alfred, and grandson Harry Thorpe were photographed on wagon ride Dec. 25, 1900, at back of Prince Ranch which is center of North Hollywood Park today. Theme of pioneer picnic will cite community's first industry, fruit drying and canning, at Prince Ranch." See images 00156138 through 00156140 for all photos in this series.
