Note: Als Nr. 26 publiziert im Album 'Achtzig Ansichten von der Goldküste (Westafrika) nach Originalaufnahmen des Missionars Fritz Ramseyer', Neuenburg 1895. (RI) - Bildlegende im Album: "Anum. - Diese Station - auf einem Hügel, 1 1/2 Stunde vom prachtvollen Volta-Fluss gelegen, und etwa 30 Stunden von der Küste entfernt - wurde, wie bekannt, im Jahr 1869 von den Asantern zerstört
die dortigen Missionare wurden als Gefangene nach Kumase geschleppt. Anum ist im Jahr 1889 neu erbaut worden. Die Ansicht zeigt die nördliche Seite des Missionshauses." - Ramseyer neg 24. Publiziert 1891. (TG).

(RI). - Caption in the album: "Anum. - This mission station, is situated on a hill one and a half hours away from the magnificent Volta River, and about 30 hours from the coast. As is well known it was destroyed by the Asantes in 1869. The missionaries were captured and taken to Kumase. Anum was rebuilt in 1889. This view shows the north side of the mission house."
