Description
This 1952 report is a population and employment survey of Sacramento's West End and was compiled for the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Sacramento. It was written by Davis F. McEntire, a social economist at the University of California, Berkeley. The area covered is the "critical twelve blocks in the Northwest section which contain the 'skid row' district and also the center for farm labor and other casual employment."
