Photograph shows Gail J. Fullerton, standing in front of the desk in the presidents office. She was president of the San Jose State University from 1978-1991.
Gail J. Fullerton was hired as an Sociology instructor at San Jose State College in 1965. She was the first faculty member to be appointed President since Morris E. Dailey in 1900.
