Description: Happily fulfilling their duty of being useful and helpful, Girl Scouts of Troop 83 of Carthay Center School are shown at the Los Angeles Orphans' Home on November 26, 1936, presenting the makings of a fine Thanksgiving dinner to one of the home residents. Each year the Girl Scouts visit the home and provide entertainment.
