Description
Four Japanese residents, who have lived in this city for years, are shown boarding a bus for Manzanar on March 21, 1942. Another group will leave in two days. 34,000 Japanese Americans in Los Angeles County had been sent to internment camps as of June 1942, no longer to operate the vegetable stands or serve as butlers in mansions.
