Photograph caption dated June 20, 1960 reads "Pete Lubisch [sic], left, 202-pound all-Foothill League center and an outstanding pre-medical student, is shown how the traditional Red Sanders single wing mows 'em down. He will earn [sic] more when he enters UCLA this fall as winner of the second annual Red Sanders Memorial Scholarship. The 'teacher' showing him is Head Coach Bill Barnes. Lubisich will compete in freshman football."
