Two African men in cloth outfits and caps are standing next to a big wooden beer trough. On their left and right two other troughs. In the background on the right the two-storied stone house. On the left a shed with a grass roof. Cf. photo no. 287. -- The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
