Photograph of a town in Nevada City, ca.1930. The dark rooftops are all that can be seen of the buildings in the foreground, but those farther back are generally lightly-colored. At center a bridge can be seen just before the intersection of two streets. One street extends through two lines of buildings into the distance, while the second is lined with fences and extends through two lines of buildings to the right. A rocky yard can be seen on the left with the National Exchange building just behind it. A grassy hillside can be seen in the background.
