Description: Scene of Brigadier General Carl Brown McDaniel (center-left) and his wife Ruth (center-right) at the Chuck Wagon restaurant in the Town and Country Village Shopping Center at Fulton and Marconi Ave. Real-estate developer Jeré Strizek (far right) hosted a luncheon for student officers from Mather Air Force Base. First Lieutenant Roy D. Leavitt (far left) served as Mather AFB’s Public Relations Officer then Public Information Officer until 1950. Taken circa 1950.
