Photograph caption dated February 23, 1961 reads, "John Canizo, 11837 Susan Dr., Granada Hills, sits astride a burro which will be used Tuesday in two sessions of donkey basketball at Sun Valley's Polytechnic High School boys' gymnasium, 3:15 and 8 p.m. Dave Dalsimer, 9129 Ledge Ave., Sun Valley, holds a bumper sticker advertising the event."
