"Madagascar. - Normaliennes pilant le riz" ("Normaliennes grinding rice"). Two women, one carrying a baby on her back, grind rice in a concrete mortar with long wooden poles. Two children sit nearby, one with a baby in her lap. Postcard issued by the Congregation des Soeurs de Saint Joseph de Cluny, 21, Rue Mechain, Paris.
