Photograph caption dated April 22, 1964 reads, "'That miserable...' June Landerman of North Hollywood conjures up proper punishment for the 4-pin which stopped her bid for a 300 game recently in the Valley Traveling League's ladies classic at Van Nuys Bowl. She rolled a 299 game and would just as soon chop the petulant pin into firewood."
