Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Wilshire Boulevard, looking east along the Miracle Mile, showing Coulters, ca.1948. Wilshire Boulevard runs from the lower right corner to the upper left, its paved lanes dotted by automobiles. Coulters sits at the right center of the image, with other commercial buildings to its left and right along the visible length of the street. Commercial buildings line the left of the street as well, with a "Ralph's" sign visible at the center. The left side of the image is lined by the edge of a rooftop, while residential buildings and parked cars are visible in the distance to the right. Coulters stood on the SE corner of Wilshire and Hauser Boulevards. Further down, on the south side of Wilshire, are the Wilshire Tower and Dominguez buildings. Still further down, on the NE side of Wilshire and la Brea is the E. Clem Wilson building.
