Description
The episode of "Inside Cal Poly Pomona" was hosted by the then Director of Public Affairs Stanley Herbert III. The episode consists of three distinct segments that cover the broad topic of Student-Oriented Activities. The first segment is an interview with Julie Hall, Program Marketing Director of Associated Students, Inc (ASI), and Jerry Thompson, ASI's Director of Facilities and Capital Projects. ASI is Cal Poly Pomona's student government organization. Hall and Thompson discuss the upcoming Phase 1 additions to the ASI building on CPP's campus. They also discuss a future Phase 2 expansion that would consist of an expanded food court, multipurpose room, and a fitness center. The second segment is an interview with Dr. Austin, Director of Psychological Services, and Suzanne R. Benko, Coordinator of the Life Enhancement Center. This interview revolves around Cal Poly Pomona's counseling services and the creation of the Life Enhancement Center. The final segment is an interview with Ron "Mr. Cal Poly" Simons in which he answers questions about the university's off-campus sites. The episode also includes footage of a digital rendition of the future ASI building after it has received its additions.
