Description
Almost like a journal entry, Pollock studies the Japanese Americans in the Fresno Assembly Center, making note of their tendencies, habits, and culture. Walter E. Pollock was the head of the service division at the Fresno Assembly Center. He was deeply affected by his time working at the center and was working on a memoir of his experiences there, but unfortunately passed away before it could be completed. The collection contains his research and draft chapters.
