Mexico, nation of romance and tragedy, has again felt the sting of revolt and the sorrows which result from it. One of these trails of tragedy leads directly to Los Angeles and to the door of Mexico's former provisional president, Adolfo de la Huerta, scion of the famous old De la Huerta family of Guaymas, Sonora. Alfonso de la Huerta, revolutionary leader, has been slain by federal troops and his body placed on exhibit in a public plaza. His brother, Adolfo, terms it virtually a murder. Shown is an old picture of the De la Huerta family. Young boy sitting (far right) is Alfonso. Photo dated: October 11, 1927.
