Tears roll down the face of Beverly Slover, who along with her husband, George, pleaded guilty to assault charges in the robbery of a navy seaman. Beverly, 18, allegedly picked up the seaman in her car, then later picked up her husband, who pretended to be another hitchhiker. It was charged that George later struck the seaman with a blackjack.
