Buddy Rogers was an actor and a jazz musician. Photograph caption dated April 26, 1943 reads "Lieut. (j .g.) Charles 'Buddy' Rogers of the Navy was there with Mary Pickford, his wife, to pay tribute to the marines on their 168th anniversary."
