Description
Studio portrait of a Scottish family with four children: 3 girls and 1 boy. The youngest girl is seated, holding a doll. The family is well-dressed, the girls with lace collars on their pin-tucked dresses. The mother is wearing a dark dress with velvet diamonds on the bodice and small buttons. Taken in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, north of Edinburgh. From an album of cabinet cards that may have belonged to a Nelson family.
